Our Classes

Pupils joining Wood Bank at reception age are placed into Robins class following the Discover curriculum for their reception year. At the end of this period, following ongoing assessment, decisions will be made about the most appropriate pathway to follow that best meets pupils’ holistic needs and education journey.

Due to the complex needs of our pupils, we strive to place an average of 10 pupils into each class. In addition, we provide appropriate levels of teaching support which comprises of one class teacher and an average of four teaching assistants.
